Be it resolved by the Town Board of the Town of Thornapple, adopted by a two-thirds majority of the town board that:

ATV/UTV users can cross the Chippewa River Bridge on USH 8 in the most direct manner practicable and at a place where no obstruction prevents a quick and safe crossing staying on the designated route as stated below;

Designated Route:

From Sawdust Road in the Town of Thornapple, ATVs/UTVs must enter USH 8 traveling west towards the bridge and traveling with the direction of the traffic where the existing snowmobile trail connects.

ATVs/UTVs must enter USH 8 traveling east towards the bridge, traveling in the direction of the traffic and must exit USH 8 at Sawdust Road after crossing the bridge.

Always travel on the pavement of USH 8 when traveling to and from the Chippewa River Bridge moving with the direction of the traffic.
